On the day: Sunday, July 4, 2010

The Carnival parade will travel through Newark's town centre and will last approximately 1hr. The route lasts for just over 1 mile. Below is the roads that the procession will travel on July 4th.

At 2pm, the procession leaves Riverside Park. At the Beast Market Hill roundabout, the parade will turn right on to Castlegate, travel along Lombard Street where it will meet Beaumond Cross. From Beaumond Cross it will turn right in to Portland Street, then a quick left in to Albert Street. The procession will travel along Albert Street and at the mini roundabout it will turn right on to Boundary Road. The parade will then enter Sconce and Devon Park where it will join Sconcefest 2010.
